STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. FEES
1.1. All courses are 0% VAT.

2. Cancellation by the client
2.1 Cancellation before 28 days full refund.
Cancellation 21 - 28 days 25% loss of monies paid.
Cancellation 14 - 20 days 50% loss of monies paid.*
Cancellation 7 - 13 days 75% loss of monies paid.*
Cancellation 0 - 6 days 100% loss of monies paid.
*Rearrangement of dates may be possible, however this may not always possible or guaranteed. If the rearranged date has to be changed you will begiven new dates.
2.2 Refusal to participate in an activity will be charged at 100% of the fee. We do our best to encourage and advise everyone to participate but we will never force people to take part.
2.3 Being late for the activities may result in the activity starting without you, or not going ahead at all - the customer will incur the loss of their money paid.
2.4 Booking an activity unsuitable for the age of the participants will result in the loss of the customers money paid and no activity.

3 Cancellation by Maffu Adventures
3.1 Whilst every attempt is made to ensure that the agreed activity goes ahead Maffu Adventures will notify the client of cancellation or venue change as soon as possible, where it believes the booked activity venue be deemed inappropriate due to for example high water levels, or other genuine reason for concern.
Cancellation may be necessary due to an event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including staff illness, accident, breakdown of transportation, epidemic or pandemic, fire, snow, ice, flood / storm, lockout, riot, war, act of God.
3.2 In the event of cancellation clients will be offered the choice of the following options:
3.2.1 Full refund minus 10% fee.
3.2.2 A choice of alternative dates for the activity programme.
3.2.3 It is advised that participants on activities take out their own cancellation insurance
3.3 Maffu Adventures cannot accept responsibility for any consequential losses.
Statement of Risk
Adventure Activities such as climbing, caving, canoeing and abseiling are physically demanding and potentially hazardous with a danger of personal injury.
Whilst Maffu Adventures takes all reasonable and practicable measures to ensure the safety of all participants, there are inherent risks that are integral to the activities which cannot be completely eliminated without destroying their unique character.
Although accidents may still occur, to reduce their number and severity Maffu Adventures staff will make participants aware of the risks and hazards attached to each activity and minimise these as much as possible using Maffu Adventures Standard Operating Procedures and risk assessments.
We only use fully qualified staff, operating to national governing body guidelines, and providing appropriate personal safety equipment for all participants. We reserve the right to cancel or modify any activity if we believe there to be adverse risk.
By booking an activity you acknowledge that you are aware of and accept these risks and will be responsible for your own and your group's actions and involvement.
Insurance
Maffu Adventures do not provide personal accident insurance for participants.
We advise that participants take out their own personal accident and cancellation insurance cover.
Maffu Adventures does have public liability insurance.
